It indicates that Joseph Grayson arrived in the Rutherford County, NC area by 1779, and had at least five children including Joseph, Jr, Benjamin, William, Isaac, and Susannah.

It lists Polley Melton, b.9 Aug 1786, d.15 October 1858, m.20 Aug 1807 (bond) Isaac Grayson, son of Joseph Grayson. Polley is listed as one of eleven children of John Melton (b.1753, son of Silas) and his first cousin Sarah Melton (dau. of William).
