Andy Francis Logan Claimed by Death
Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon at the Zion Church, near Casar,
for Andy Francis Logan, who died at 4 o'clock
this morning at this home near Lincolnton.
Mr. Logan was 85 years of age and had been in
declining health for the past year. The Rev.
Ed McDaniel will be in charge of the funeral service.
Surviving Mr. Logan are six children, Davey Logan and Mrs. Mary
Waters, of Lincolnton; Hannah Logan of Casar; Joe Logan,
Mrs. Claude Lindsay, and Mrs. Ada Price, of Casar, route 1;
one brother, Willie Logan of Morganton.4

Mrs. Logan Passes At Lincoln Home
Mrs. Andy Logan of Lincolnton, 83-year-old native of the
county and until about 15 years ago a resident of
the Casar section, died at 10 a.m. tody after an illness
of about a year.
Funeral services for Mrs. Logan will be on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Casar of which she was a member.
The Rev. Otis Cook will be in charge.
She is survived by her husband and the following children:
Davie Logan of Mississippi; Miss Hannah Logan and Mrs. W.M. Waters of
Lincolnton; Joe Logan, Mrs. C.B. Lindsay, Mrs. J.R. Price of Casar.5
