Also listed in the same household are Nancy (age 43), Rachal (age 18), James (age 18), Littleton (age 16), Sarah (age 14), Joseph (age 12), Letitia (age 10, Susan (age 6), Minurvia (age 4), and Mary (age 2). All are listed as born in "N.C.".
• The 1860 census of Rutherford County, NC lists a Hampton Sims (age 55, farmer) as head of household 550 in the Whiteside Settlement section of the county (post office is Golden Valley).
